Delete your account & data

1. Open the Byora app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the Delete account section.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is signed out immediately and the deletion is processed right away. This action cannot be undone.

Deleting your account permanently removes all of your data, including:

• Your login account (email/identity)
• Accounts & balances, transactions, and categories/budgets
• Recurring items, goals, and loans / lending records
• Investments/holdings, trades, dividends, watchlists and price alerts
• Paper-trading data
• Receipt images you uploaded
• Any connected broker (Zerodha) access token
• Notification subscriptions

Nothing is retained for marketing or sold to anyone. Data is removed from the live database as part of the deletion. Residual copies in routine encrypted backups are purged within 30 days, after which no personal data remains.

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data: inside the app you can delete individual records — for example a transaction, a holding, a trade or a receipt — at any time, and you can disconnect your broker (which deletes the stored access token).
